This session explores how Microsoft is bringing agentic innovation to life across Azure AI, Microsoft Foundry, and Copilot Studio - enabling systems that understand intent, reason over data, and take meaningful action with tools. We’ll unpack the core concepts behind agentic workflows, show how these new patterns are reshaping productivity, solution design, and the future of application development.
Workshop: Build your first agent with Azure AI Agent Service
Imagine you are a sales manager at Contoso, a multinational retail company that sells outdoor equipment. You need to analyze sales data to find trends, understand customer preferences, and make informed business decisions. To help you, Contoso has developed a conversational agent that can answer questions about your sales data.
What you will learn: By the end of this workshop, you will learn to build an agent app using Azure AI Foundry Agent Service, explore its tools, and effectively use instructions to guide the LLM.

| Cyrus Wong | Cyrus Wong is an accomplished senior lecturer who oversees the Higher Diploma program in Cloud and Data Centre Administration at the Hong Kong Institute of Information Technology (HKIIT) at IVE(Lee Wai Lee) in Hong Kong. He is a passionate advocate for the adoption of cloud technology across various media and events. With his extensive knowledge and expertise, he has earned prestigious recognitions such as AWS AI Hero, Microsoft MVP - Azure AI, and Google Developer Expert for Google Cloud Platform & AI/ML (GenAI). |
| Likko Kwok | Likko Kwok specializes in cloud engineering and cybersecurity, with hands-on experience in Microsoft Azure, AWS, and Alibaba Cloud. Currently pursuing a Higher Diploma in Cloud and Data Centre Administration at HKIIT, Likko holds certifications including Azure Administrator Associate, AWS Solutions Architect – Associate, and AWS AI Practitioner. Passionate about multi-cloud architecture, security operations, and AI/ML integration, Likko actively contributes to tech communities and promotes cloud education through the Microsoft Learn Student Ambassador program. |
