AgentCon Córdoba: Global AI Community Brought Together Nearly 250 Attendees to Talk About AI Agents
On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the city of Córdoba, Argentina, hosted AgentCon, an event organized by the Global AI Buenos Aires community as part of the Global AI Community initiative. With nearly 250 attendees, the event established itself as a key space to explore the present and future of artificial intelligence agents. The event took place at Universidad Blas Pascal (UBP).

Attendees lining up to check in at the start of the day.
The opening keynote was delivered by Bruno Capuano (Principal Cloud Advocate at Microsoft) and Pablo Piovano (Microsoft MVP), who presented "Let's Talk About the Most Exciting and Promising Aspects of AI Agents." One of the standout moments was the demonstration of a "Pablito Piova" avatar that the audience could interact with live, showcasing the potential of AI agents in a hands-on and entertaining way. An opening that set the bar high for the rest of the day.

Throughout the event, attendees could choose between two simultaneous tracks with 60-minute sessions each. In Room 1, Alberto Avendaño covered the role of AI Builder as an AI component within the Power Platform, while in Room 2, Ignacio Barrau demonstrated how to build Fabric data agents to interact directly with enterprise data.
The following block brought equally compelling sessions: Lautaro Carro dove into open source AI models—what they are, how to use them, and why they matter—and Alfredo Cisterna shared Mercado Libre's experience automating complex processes with Generative AI, bots, and n8n, a case study particularly relevant to the regional tech ecosystem.
In the afternoon, Pablo Ariel Di Loreto explored the combination of AI with GitHub Codespaces as a new collaborative development paradigm, while in parallel, Ariel Schwindt and Fernando Bono presented how BIZUIT and Azure AI Platform enable the creation of intelligent agents to transform business processes.
The rooms were packed throughout the day, reflecting the community's strong interest.
The final stretch included a presentation by the Software Research Laboratory (LIS) at UTN FRC, led by Emanuel Ravera and Damián Nicolás Hernández, alongside a session by Alberto Avendaño on using Copilot to build applications and workflows with ease.
The closing session was led by the event's three organizers: Bruno Capuano, Pablo Piovano, and Enrique Dutra, who highlighted the best takeaways on AI agents from throughout the day, wrapping up an event that demonstrated the growing interest of the Córdoba and Argentine tech community in this technology.
