Creating agentic workflows without the chaos Creating agentic workflows without the chaos is an engineering discipline: constrain autonomy, validate everything, and instrument the loop. This session breaks down a tool using agent architecture with an explicit control loop, bounded routing, structured outputs, and hard stop conditions so behavior stays predictable under real constraints. You’ll get guardrail patterns you can apply immediately, shown through short code examples and clear diagrams: a tool allowlist, confirmation gates for write actions, and a strict separation between untrusted retrieved text and tool execution inputs. We’ll also cover end to end tracing and a small CI eval suite to catch regressions after tool changes before they reach production. |
