Github Copilot Dev Days | Utrecht
Join us in Utrecht for an evening dedicated to building better with GitHub Copilot, not as a novelty but as a serious development companion.
This Dev Day takes a practical approach. Instead of focusing on quick prompts or isolated tricks, we will explore spec-driven development. This way of working is about collaborating with Copilot by defining clear intent, structure, and constraints up front. When done well, Copilot becomes less of a code generator and more of a partner in shaping solutions.
The evening is hosted by Roelant Dieben and Stuart van der Lee, who will guide you through both the concepts and the hands-on experience.
We begin with a short session that introduces the ideas behind spec-driven development and how they apply in real workflows. After that, we move into a hands-on Spec Kit workshop where you will apply these ideas yourself.
You are welcome to bring your own idea, something you have been wanting to explore or prototype, or you can follow along with one of the prepared scenarios. The goal is simple. Learn how to guide Copilot effectively and see what changes when you do.
Expect an evening that is practical, slightly experimental, and engaging. There will be food, conversation, and plenty of opportunity to exchange ideas with others.
