Azure AI Document Intelligence - OCR on steroids
In the late 1920s and into the 1930s, Emanuel Goldberg developed what he called a "Statistical Machine" for searching microfilm archives using an optical code recognition system, which evolved into an IBM OCR solution. about 100 years after, OCR is transitioning into powerful document and text analysis capabilities, thanks to Azure AI Document Intelligence APIs.
