Egina Malaj — Welcome & introduction to Global AI Vancouver

5:50 PM – 6:30 PM
Keyann Al Kheder - Exploring Latent Space through Image Generation: A Visual Odyssey

In this session, we will explore how image generation models interpret and respond to prompts through large-scale experimentation. We will share insights into how AI models behave, how to prompt them more effectively, how they are trained, and what types of data drive better outcomes.

6:30 PM – 7:15 PM
Wayne Hing - Agent Skills Explained: What They Are and Why They Matter

The rise of agent skills is one of the most significant shifts in AI today. We will cover what agent skills are, how they extend AI beyond conversation into real-world action, and why they enable automation of complex workflows. We will also explore how agent skills are becoming a shared standard across frontier model providers like Microsoft, Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google, signaling a move toward more interoperable, action-oriented AI. Whether you're new to agentic AI or already experimenting with it, this session will give you a clear, practical lens on where things are headed and what it means for you.
