The Age of AI Agents
In this keynote, we’ll explore the rise of AI agents:
What exactly are Agents? Are they just smarter bots or a new paradigm in AI?
What kinds of Agents exist today, from low-code Copilot Studio flows to full-fledged multi-agent systems powered by Azure AI Foundry and running at the edge?
How you can build, deploy, and extend agents today using Microsoft’s ecosystem, from templates to custom orchestration with your own data.
We’ll look at real-world use cases, edge-ready deployments, and how to responsibly build AI systems that work for you even when you’re offline.
By the end, you’ll walk away with a fresh understanding of how Agents are not just the future of AI but your new teammates.

AI Agents 0 to 1: Build your code first AI agent
If you have no clue how to get started with AI agents, this session is for you. If you find yourself going in circles, confused about where chatbots end and agents begin, what autonomy actually means and how to go from ideas to real, functioning systems - this session is designed to help you skip that frustration and get a clear, confident starting point.
We’ll begin by grounding ourselves in key GenAI terms - chatbots vs. agents, autonomy vs. automation. Then we’ll look at offerings on Azure’s current ecosystem for building AI agents, including tools like Semantic Kernel, Azure AI Foundry, etc
The core of the session is a live walkthrough: you’ll see how to build a simple, code-first AI agent using Azure AI Agents SDK that can do data analysis. An agent that takes a user question, generates Python code, and outputs a chart based on sample data. This step-by-step demo will show how autonomy can be assembled from scratch using Azure tools without relying on prebuilt copilots.
You’ll walk away with:
- A clear mental model of what an AI agent is and isn’t
- A practical overview of Azure tools for agent development
- The full codebase used in the demo
- Curated resources to continue your journey with Azure-powered agents
This session is perfect for developers, data professionals, or anyone GenAI-curious who wants to understand not just what agents can do, but how to start building them thoughtfully.
PS - This session is delivered once online on Azure developer community youtube. Recording can be found in references.

BYOA ( Bring your own agents )
Most developers today are comfortable building agents with LangGraph or Mastra, and many have experimented with MCP for tool integration or A2A for automation workflows. But here's where it gets interesting: the magic happens when you stop treating these as separate tools and start thinking about them as complementary pieces of a larger puzzle.
In this session, we're going beyond the usual "here's how to connect Tool X to Agent Y" tutorials. Instead, we'll dive into the messy, beautiful reality of building production-ready agentic systems that actually solve real business problems.
You'll discover how to choreograph MCP and A2A in harmony, creating agent ecosystems that are more than the sum of their parts.
But let me drop a truth-bomb, I'll also share the hard truths about where these protocols still fall short, the gotchas that'll save you hours of debugging, and the pragmatic workarounds that bridge the gaps between promise and reality.
By the end, you'll have a blueprint for building agents that don't just demo well, but actually ship and scale in the wild.
My journey started with a passion for mathematics in college, which led me into Data Science and Machine Learning. I began competing in hackathons as a Data Analyst, gradually transitioning to backend development with Django and Python. After winning several accolades including the Smart India Hackathon and ASEAN India Hackathon, I joined Contentstack as a Machine Learning Engineer in the pre-GPT era, delivering end-to-end projects ranging from computer vision to statistical analysis. Most recently, with the advent of LLMs, I delivered a product that solved brand-relevancy challenges using RAG, complete with a feedback mechanism to track LLM hallucinations. Currently, I'm a senior developer leading various projects while exploring Agentic AI as my personal passion.
