Global AI Community is a free, volunteer-run community for AI developers. By using the site and attending events, you agree to these terms.
Acceptance of these terms
By creating an account or using our services, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.
The community
Our events and content are free and open to everyone who wants to learn and build with AI. We expect everyone to follow our Code of Conduct: be respectful, inclusive and kind. Harassment or discrimination of any kind is not tolerated.
Your account
- Sign-in is passwordless - you receive a one-time code by email. Keep access to your email secure.
- One account per person. Don't share your account or impersonate others.
- You can be signed in on up to five devices; you can revoke any session at any time.
- You're responsible for the activity on your account.
Acceptable use
When using the service, you agree not to:
- Break the law or infringe others' rights
- Disrupt, probe or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service
- Scrape, spam, or misuse our systems or other members' data
- Post harmful, hateful, or misleading content
Events & tickets
Events are free, but places may be limited. Registering reserves a spot; if you can't attend, please release your ticket so someone on the waitlist can join. In-person attendance is subject to the venue's rules and our Code of Conduct. We may cancel or reschedule an event when needed.
Content & intellectual property
The Global AI Community name, logo and site content are ours or our licensors'. Content you submit remains yours, but you grant us a licence to display and distribute it as part of running the community. Speaker and event materials remain the property of their authors.
Third-party links
The site links to third-party sites and tools we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices.
Disclaimers
The service is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee it will always be available, error-free or secure.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Global AI Community is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the service or attendance at events.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Code of Conduct.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Global AI Community is established, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We'll post changes here and update the "last updated" date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
